Gunmen attack Benue market again, 5 killed, many injured

Armed men with all sort of assorted weapons is said to have invaded Abaji Market in Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State, killing five persons and leaving scores with various degrees of injuries.

The attack came barely three weeks after unknown armed men invaded the popular Zaki Biam International Yam Market, killing several persons, injuring many and razing many shops, houses, and leaving behind heaps of burnt yam tubers.

The attack also defiled the Special Forces from the Force Headquarters deployed to the axis to stem the wanton killings in Benue North-East senatorial district.
